Why do panic attacks happen? I mean you get anxious over the things that don’t make any sense to get anxious over. All it has to do is start with one thought, nonetheless, it gets completely blown out of control. What’s really bad is that you think your having a heart attack or stroke. Hands up for those that have been to the ER because of a panic attack (been there, done that multiple times). Every little thing that you do throughout your day is analyzed, dissected and not being able to control your emotions. In addition, other people look at you like your deranged. In this post, I bet you can’t guess what I’m going to talk about. I just noticed that I haven’t had a major melt down in a while. Probably because I’m hanging out with me, myself, and I! I will say, I’m much happier. Oh, wait a minute, that’s the mania. Sometimes you have to make fun of yourself before anybody else has the chance to do it. Sad to say, but that is how I grew up. Yes, this post is on anxiety attacks, why they happen and how to cope.
Anxiety For No Reason
Sometimes, the really bad panic attacks, start for no f**king reason at all. Those are probably the worst. I’m sorry, I’m making light of a serious mental illness. That’s how I cope with them, otherwise I would be locked up somewhere for a really long time. Been in the hospital many of times, don’t care to go back! No, it is a very serious matter and anxiety is one of the hardest illnesses to go through, especially when the attacks come out of no where. Unfortunately, we make it worse by having anxiety over the anxiety attack. Gettin’ that double dose in (2 for 1). Obviously, I have entirely have too much time on my hands being in this room all day long. That and to top it off because of the mania, I hardly sleep. Hey, I tried dealing with the mania by taking Lithium and I got shot down (anxiety got worse).
Caffeine and Anxiety
I have cut way back on the amount of caffeine I consume because of the anxiety. I can really feel the difference. I used to drink Diet Coke and coffee all day long, until I had become fed up with the constant attacks. I mean it got so bad, I was almost having attacks one right after the other. For the most part, if you drink a lot of caffeine and have constant attacks, you need to cut back. Seriously, it does help. You’re not on high alert all the time. In particular, caffeine can increase the likelihood of a panic attack occurring or make the symptoms of an existing panic attack more severe. Caffeine can also interfere with sleep quality, which can further exacerbate anxiety and panic symptoms.
Social Anxiety Drawing
One possibility is that social anxiety drawing might refer to drawings or artistic expressions that are created by people who experience social anxiety or related conditions. These artworks may reflect the emotional experiences and struggles of people with social anxiety, and may provide a creative outlet for self-expression and processing of difficult emotions. It could also refer to a specific type of therapeutic intervention in which individuals are encouraged to draw or create art as a way of exploring and addressing their social anxiety. This type of therapy may be used in conjunction with other treatments, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, to help individuals develop coping skills and reduce their anxiety in social situations. I’m 51 years old and I still love to color. It’s very relaxing. That’s why I’m here, to relax you. You need a break!
Ways To Calm An Anxiety Attack

Ways to calm an anxiety attack, I don’t know. We are different individuals, so what works for me might not work for you. I’ll give it a shot though. As I stated earlier, I like to color. Something else I find relaxing, is making friendship bracelets. I get to create different patterns and then wear it afterwards. It’s quite relaxing. I used to scrapbook, but I got out of the habit a while back. I can think of these solutions now because I’m relaxed, but during an attack, you can’t think about anything but the panic attack, which makes it worse.
What else…you could do a hobby that you’re interested in. I had mentioned in a previous post that guided imagery is a good route to take. It gets you out of the cycle that you get into during the attack by forcing you to concentrate on something else.
Living With Anxiety
I think I’m going to be a lifer when it comes to anxiety. Not that I’m proud of it, I just have so many issues with dealing with other individuals. It’s not going to be an easy fix, I can tell you that right now. My anxiety stems from my first grade teacher bullying the shit out of me for 2 years (yes, I was held back). Basically, she used to pull me out of the desk by my hair! Ok, enough of the sob story, let’s get back on track. I look at it this way, there are a lot of things worse than living with anxiety. My body is intact, I’m not missing any body parts. One thing I want to get back to is listening to tunes while going for a walk. I used to enjoy that a lot.
Conclusion
Well, we’re at the end of another post. I hope you enjoy reading these as much as I enjoy writing them. Doing the research, I’m learning a lot about mental illness. I hope you learned about the causes if anxiety attacks and how to cope with them. You know, I make light of panic attacks because that’s my coping mechanism. I would be a very negative person if I paid attention to all the shit that goes on inside my head. You have to make light of the situation, otherwise you would literally make yourself not only mentally sick, but physically sick also. I don’t know about you, but my stomach does summer salts when I’m having a bad panic attack. Anyway, I hope to see you in the next post. I’m still trying to put my website together, so if you would be patient with me, I much appreciate it. Until next time… (let’s see if I sleep tonight) Good Night!
