Panic v Anxiety Attack(Opens in a new browser tab)

“I need help, my anxiety is out of control.” If you ever think that, then try to find help for the anxiety. I tried handling mine on my own and it became devastatingly worse. Hence, I ended up doing something that was totally wrong because I wanted to escape from the anxiety. As a result, I ended up in the hospital for 9 days. Consequently, I have this long scar on my abdomen. So, please get help if you think, “my anxiety is out of control.”
Altogether, I’m doing this post a little bit different from the others. It’s kind of like what I call freelance writing. I’m not doing any research or any background work to distinguish what I’m going to write about. Therefore, this is purely off of the top of my head. The only thing I looked up was on Google to see what topic I’m going to be writing about and the subject for each paragraph. Ok, so here goes.

Signs My Anxiety is Out of Control
What are the signs that I knew my anxiety is out of control? Basically, I knew it when I started to get anxious about talking to other people (including friends and family). I was dumbfounded when someone would talk to me and I couldn’t respond back. I felt like I was paralyzed with fear. Furthermore, I felt like I was going to say the wrong thing which is totally absurd (now I realize it).
Your brain starts to play little tricks with you. Even more, you believe all the absurdity. Why wouldn’t you? By the same token, you can see this situation play out in your head. You say something dumb and they start laughing at you (one of the worst scenarios you think of). Then you feel like everybody around you is joining in and pointing at you.
Of course, now that I’ve learned how to keep my imagination in normal standards, life is much easier. Don’t get me wrong, I still have anxiety, but I don’t (or try not to) play into the scenarios my mind makes up. That’s all it is, made up. In brief, your brain is trying to get you to respond to the perceived threat when it really isn’t there.

Although, like I said, I still have days that are filled with anxiety, but I try to relieve it in constructed ways. Earlier, I had a panic attack because I had to leave my ‘sanctuary’ and go to a doctor’s appointment. I just focused on my driving and not the anxiety, so it was over in a matter of minutes.

My Anxiety is Out of Control Reddit
I’ve been on Reddit a few times either posting questions or responding to someone else’s comment. I like it because individuals are open and honest about their problems. Also, there are many different responses from other people who are going through the same thing.

Anxiety Spiraling Out of Control
Anxiety spiraling out of control is how I felt about a year ago. In any event, I lost my massage job because I would have panic attacks upon entering the room. I wasn’t asked if I was ok, but the owner decided to get rid of me like discarded trash. Then, I sunk further into anxiety and despair.

At this point, I didn’t care about anything. I wasn’t eating or sleeping very well. But in the back of my mind, I knew this wasn’t how I wanted to live my life. There was a little tiny spark in my brain. Therefore, I focused on what I wanted life to be and not how it was currently going. That spark grew bigger and bigger. I finally latched onto it and ever since then, my anxiety has stopped controlling my life.
So, I was back in control. At first, I didn’t know how to handle my new found freedom because all I can remember is the anxiety controlling everything. Should I go here? No, you’ll become anxious. Should I talk to this person? No, you’ll become anxious. So, with my new freedom, I was kind of like a kid discovering the world for the first time. At the same time, I wanted to do everything that I didn’t do before.

Conclusion
So, if you think “help, my anxiety is out of control,” remember that tiny spark that I believe is in everyone of us. Sometimes, you have to dig deep to find it, but I bet you it is there. You have to nurture that tiny spark into a big ball of light and let it take over. Soon you will have freedom also.
Now, like I said earlier, I still have panic attacks and I have them regularly. But I AM in control of my mind , not the anxiety! I hope you feel this sensation WHEN (not if) you take back control. I know you can do it. Even though I’ve never met you, I believe in you! I know what it feels like when anxiety takes control of everything. You just have to believe that you will get past that. Remember that tiny, little spark and nurture it.
Well, that went pretty smooth. I like doing this format, it gives me a chance to really express myself to others. Yes, it’s kind of daunting but the more I do it, the more confidence I gain. So, feel free to leave me any comments, I surely do welcome them. Also, if you want me to write more of these posts, just let me know. Until next time…
