Irritable depression…I feel like I’m going through it right now, because of everything going on in the US. Irritable-because I’m tired of all the bullsh*t going on in the government. Depressed-because I want all this crap to stop, but it just keeps getting worse.
So, what do you do? It seems like everything has been so negative for several years now. My anxiety is through the roof, because I’m watching too much of what’s going on in the world. When did everything go to sh*t?
I can answer that, when Americans opened their eyes to what Trump is truly like. He gave a line of bullsh*t to get elected, and many people fell for it (sorry to say). Now we have to try to fix this, we have to unite in a show of force. Only we can turn the tables.
Depression symptoms
- Mood swings
- Persistent irritability
- Emotional dysregulation
- Agitation
- Low energy
- Chronic frustration
- Sadness and anger
- Emotional exhaustion
Irritable hostile depression
Irritable, hostile depression perfectly describes some people nowadays. Very hostile, because they were betrayed. You know, I owe $3 to the government for taxes. I think I’ll keep it to buy a gallon of milk or something. Is that irritable enough for them? I’d go to jail fir it!
I told myself I would keep my opinions out of my posts, but Trump has gone too far. He’s a lying piece of crap (among more expletive words). He’s the perfect politician, a lying sack of sh*t. I feel sorry for those that voted for him.
I’ve never voted, because I don’t like any politicians. Yeah, I know there are a few that are good, but they’re few and far between. Maybe you could call this extreme irritability and depression. I think I’m more irritable than depressed.
Irritability and anxiety
You know why I’m in an irritable depression, but can you guess why I’m anxious? I live off disability because of Parkinson’s. Now that Musk and his cronies have gotten a hold of Social Security info, I’m anxious of what they will do with it.
Besides the fact that he has no right to have that info, I’m afraid of what will happen with the money I get each month. Right now (but not hopefully in the near future) I need that money. I’m working on making my own money, instead of being on disability.
The anxiety is insurmountable. It grows every time I watch the news. I know don’t watch the news. I try not to, but I don’t always succeed. In particular, I want to return to a peaceful life, but that’s not going to happen as long as Trump is president.

I know I’ve been ranting and raving about Trump, but here are some off-the-wall coping skills to deal with irritable depression.

How to Use Crystals:
⭐ Meditate: Hold them during meditation, or hold them when you feel depressed or stressed.
⭐ On Your Body: Carry them around with you in your pocket or purse. Wear them as a necklace or bracelet.
⭐ Surrounding Space: Place them around your home, especially on nightstands, window sills, desks, and by electronics. Put them in your pillow while you sleep.
The main thing to note is to use crystals with intention. Crystals won’t work fully for you unless you allow them to.
Take a mood supplement
Mood supplements can be valuable for irritable depression. Right now, I’m taking Gingko Biloba and Valerian Root, which are herbs. The Gingko Biloba helps with the schizo, along with the med I also take for it. I’ve noticed a big difference since starting it. My mind is much clearer.
I take the Valerian Root for mood and sleep. Here are some other mood supplements:
- Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Found in fish oil, omega-3s (EPA and DHA) are linked to improved brain health and may help reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety.
- Vitamin D: Often called the “sunshine vitamin,” low levels of vitamin D are associated with mood disorders, including depression. Supplementing can help if you’re deficient.
- Magnesium: This mineral plays a role in brain function and mood regulation. Magnesium deficiency has been linked to increased anxiety and depression.
- B Vitamins: Especially B6, B9 (folate), and B12, these vitamins are essential for brain health and the production of mood-regulating neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine.
- 5-HTP (5-Hydroxytryptophan): A precursor to serotonin, 5-HTP may help improve mood and reduce symptoms of depression. However, it should not be combined with antidepressants without medical supervision.
- L-Theanine: Found in green tea, this amino acid promotes relaxation and reduces stress without causing drowsiness.
- Ashwagandha: In general, it is an adaptogenic herb that helps the body manage stress and may improve symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Hear your heartbeat
Hearing (or feeling) your heartbeat can help put the importance of your life into perspective. When I was in the hospital, about a month ago, they did an electrocardiogram on me. You get to hear your heart sloshing around.
It was the weirdest sound, but it made me feel good. It put things in perspective. Years ago, I tried to take my own life because of the depression. Fortunately, I survived, and I swore to myself that I was never going to hit rock bottom again.
I made a promise to myself to ask for help first, instead of trying to deal with it myself. That obviously didn’t work.

Keep plants around
You might not believe it, but plants are good for irritable depression. Plants can do wonders for mental health. Here’s how:
- Improved Air Quality: Plants clean the air by soaking up toxins and giving off oxygen, helping to create a healthier indoor space and even boosting your mental clarity!
- Stress Reduction: Studies show that spending time with plants—like watering or pruning them—can actually help lower cortisol levels (that’s the stress hormone), which can ease feelings of anxiety and depression.
- Connection to Nature: Spending time around plants or greenery helps you feel connected to nature, which can boost your mood and make you feel less isolated.
- Sense of Purpose: Taking care of plants can bring a sense of routine and responsibility, making it a comforting and therapeutic activity for anyone dealing with depression.
- Aesthetic and Sensory Benefits: Therefore, having plants and flowers around can brighten up a space, making it feel more cheerful and welcoming. Plus, getting your hands dirty in the garden isn’t just fun—it’s been linked to boosting your mood by releasing serotonin, the feel-good chemical!
So, adding plants to your home or workplace, or even just spending time in a garden or park, is a simple and enjoyable way to boost your mental well-being.
Work on your boundaries
When you’re dealing with irritable depression, it can feel overwhelming, making it hard to handle your emotions and daily responsibilities. Setting boundaries can really help, giving you some structure and stability when you need it most.
Trump has no boundaries. But, I doubt he ever did. Musk doesn’t have any either. Boundaries are set in place to keep people safe and secure. The two of them don’t care that the people they are “firing” can’t put food on the table anymore.
Of course, that doesn’t matter, because food prices are so high. We need to stand together as one gigantic group to stop both of them.
Sum It All Up
To sum it all up, Trump Musk are traitors of this country. Trump took an oath and then turned his back to everyone who voted for him. That’s why I’m irritability depressed. We can’t put up with this for four years. By then, there might not be anything left of this country.
I hope he gets impeached and removed from office. Writing this post this time, I’m not going to apologize for my views. They are what they are, and I still have the freedom of speech behind me.
Hopefully, you’ve got some info on how to deal with the depression. The irritably factor will be there as long as Trump is President. That’s going to take all of us to remove him from office. Hopefully peace and love. Until next time…
